May 2007 The Women’s Forum annual spring cocktail reception was held at the Park Hyatt Hotel. This event gives our summer associates an opportunity to talk with other attorneys and professionals whom they may otherwise not have had an opportunity to meet.

- Women’s Forum Luncheon
April 2007 Our very own Patton Boggs alumnus was a special guest for our luncheon series. Ambassador Jennifer Hillman is a Distinguished Visiting Fellow of the Institute of International Economic Law at the Georgetown University Law Center, and an adjunct professor. In March 2007, she completed nine years of service as Commissioner on the U.S. International Trade Commission. She was originally appointed to the Commission in 1998 by Former President Clinton, and from June 2002 to June 2004 she served as the Commission’s Vice Chairman. She began her professional career as an international trade attorney in our Washington DC office.
- Women’s Forum Luncheon - “A View from the Ground: Perspectives of a Female Television Reporter in Iraq”
March 2007 In conjunction with our Women’s Forum, Patton Boggs co-hosted a luncheon discussion with the Washington Chapter of the American Jewish Committee, featuring Iraqi journalist and talk show host Ms. Dalia Al-Aqidi. The show, “AlHurra Presents,” is a popular political program featuring one-on-one interviews with politicians and decision makers such as Jalal Talabani, Ayad Allawi, Abdul Azeez AlHakeem and others.

February 2007 Patton Boggs’ Managing Partner, Stuart M. Pape, served as the guest speaker. Mr. Pape provided an update on some of the Forum’s initiatives put forth to the firm’s Management Committee.
